In an significant collaboration, Ewart Salins, CEO, Apollo Asset Management and Joyce Muiruri, Brand Manager, APA Insurance, present a sponsorship cheque to Chrisine Oguna, the Founder of Ardhi Gallery. Ardhi Gallery is Nairobi’s newest contemporary art gallery, having opened its doors in April 2023. The gallery, named after the Swahili word for 'ground,' carefully curates a diverse collection

that includes emerging, underrepresented, and prospective artists, alongside renowned established artists who share a passion for fostering the arts in society.

“The purpose of the sponsorship is to expand the community's exposure to and appreciation of art and creative works that reflect the diverse everyday life of Kenyans,” said Ewart Salins, CEO, Apollo Asset Management. “In addition, it also provides education programs for the artists on business planning, marketing, project management, business management which will include the importance of Insurance for their business, clients and themselves.”

Ardhi Gallery hosts regular exhibitions, pop-up shows, poetry nights, discussions on mental health and societal safety, as well as art classes for both children and adults, led by the talented artists represented in the gallery.
